Promises are a tight hold
On a revolving world

Mercy,
Let promises stay tight a little longer

And if promises are stronger--
Fine

I have an important one to keep,
With my good friends

So stay put, old world,
My words have not yet been broken

And you on this promise
Should rightly sleep  . . .
