Latest mp3 of Tom

The mp3 of Tom's Saturday call-in on the Northern Alliance Radio Network is now up. Thanks to the NARN guys for their work and for getting this up.

(And I even got a mention for liveblogging the show ;-)

Excellent link.

About 15 minutes in, a caller doubted if the US could attract enough allies to its side. Although the US has a Leviathan force, it needs 'boots on the ground' for current and foreseeable missions overseas. A key question seems to be whether international military invasions should have a national or a UN mandate - do allies want the UN usurped? This will affect the turn-out; for example, The London Times reports today that many Nato countries are not prepared to deploy troops and equipment (or additional troops and equipment) to Afghanistan.
