+ Let's give pride of place to China Law Blog this week for China is normal so let's close the Gap (excerpt):
Thomas P.M. Barnett is one of the few people who truly understands world politics. Among other things, he understands how countries develop. He is not a China expert per se, but it seems every time he applies his overall knowledge of the world to China, he is right on. His latest post on China, entitled, "The normalization of China proceeds apace," is classic Barnett in that it is short, to the point, and, most importantly, dead on. If I could write like he does, I would be writing books also.+Small Wars Journal Daily News Links picked up both of Tom's recent gaming posts, The "Peacemaker" video game to teach postwar/SysAdmin-like strategy skills and Yet another good example of gaming to help prepare the mind. I think it's time to add SWJ to the sidebar, don't you?
+ Zmetro linked both of Tom's latest comments on Jaffe, Jaffe profiles Abizaid and his definition of SysAdmin as the tool to win the Long War and Thoughts on Sunday morning.
+ zenpundit also linked Tom's first Jaffe post.
+ tdaxp extended the discussion on Singapore, linking All Hail Singapore!.
+ 2006 Middle East Deployment is written by Scott Thoreau, Jr who is Chief Engineer on the USS Nicholas. He linked Mapping the Gap to Core Journey.
+ Outside the Beltway picked up Tom's War sucks for the defense-industrial complex. (IIRC, that's where Newshog found it, leading to Tom's smackdown.)
+ The Gold Standard linked Tom's A global movement of one state--backwards because he doesn't think NMD is a good idea, either.
+ Defense Industry Daily linked Tom's NCW infiltration: complete.
