Mattis to USJFCOM

POST: LtGen Jim Mattis to US Joint Forces Command

A good sign for the evolution of the force. The ultimate "monk of war" takes over the primary "force generating" command, whose Area Of Responsibility is "the future"!

Tom,

Thanks much for the link to some 'good news' concerning the 'combatant command' with the future as its AOR.

Dave D. - Small Wars Journal

I see several typescripts overlaid on the site so I cannot read anything with certainty. You may want to get that fixed

hmm, George, i don't see it in Firefox or Explorer, or the weblog or the home page. could the problem be on your end? i notice your email address is AOL. are you trying to read through that browser? no guarantees on AOL...

Sean:

I'm seeing the overlay George mentions on the main page, but not on the weblog - I'm using Firefox on Ubuntu, which may be the issue. Just FYI.

Ray

Ray, you're running Ubuntu? you are a stud! ;-)

thanks for the feedback. that main page is a little wonky...

no problems with firefox on suse. just a note for the QA of the site, sean. :)

thanks, Doron! your Linux is cool, too! ;-)
