Ouch! Where's my Philly commenter now?

He better be trying out for punt returner.

Hate to lose one of those sloppy first games of the season--especially at home.

Why?

Those are the ones that haunt you in the second half when you're trying to get into double digits.

Pack is incredibly young on offensive skill players. More wins we can squeeze out before they mature, the better the chance for the playoffs.

Pack is incredibly young on offensive skill players.

Except for their quarterback. Farve is playing with an offensive team that was in the 3rd or 4th grade when he started with the Packers in 1991.

Yes, it's great to win the opener - and how cool that it was the Eagles that we beat - but ye gods.

The NFC North is once again the division of defense. Detroit, of course, is the bizarro team - capable offense, yet no D - strange to think that Kitna is the best QB in our division! Pack, Bears, and Vikes had great D today - the offense that clicks the first, wins the division.

The Pack will really miss their non-acquisition of Moss - as a Vikes fan, trust me, he would add that WR dimension (and depth/swagger) that Favre needs.

I hope this win means you can move on from 4th and 26... ;)

Tom,

I come to eat humble pie. That game was a good representation of the Eagles in the Andy Reid era: a great defensive effort, unimaginative play calling, over reliance on McNabb's arm and finally just enough mental errors to lose a tight game.

Something tells me this season is going to be a very mixed bag.

Tom,

Tell me my Patriots thumping of the Jets isn't filling all Colts fans with a sense of dread and foreboding!!! Moss and Brady, a badd a#$% Team!!

James "Durden" Riley

Sincere congrats on beating the "Eagles" :-).

Yeah, and the thumpin' you gave my Seahawks in preseason helped my team a great deal in the road to the Super Bowl.

Of course, our defense yesterday unintentionally caused two Tampa Bay Buccaneers to tap out in the third quarter. One of them is named Cadillac, I believe. The other was Jeff Garcia, their quarterback.

but antonymous and JF together. that's what i was going to say ;-)
