The boom in SWFs

EDITORIAL: "Countries Buying Companies: The rise of wealth funds is nothing to fear--if they operate out in the open," Washington Post, 24 October 2007, p. A18.

Morgan Stanley says SWFs could go from $2.5T today to $12T by 2015.

WAPO says it's okay if Norway's SWF buys stuff, but what of Venezuela, Russia and China, "none of which actually believes 100 percent in capitalism."

Say what?

Since when does Norway believe 100 percent in capitalism?

Hell, since when does America?

Good editorial. Just a funny bit.
