Great pictures, Tom. That one picture of Tsinghua U looks a lot like the University of Virginia campus. Wow, these people can copy anything. First it's outdated weapons, then media (music & movies) now it's college campuses.

Thanks for the pics. I'll probably never get there - this is the next best thing.
Just finished RIVER TOWN by Peter Hessler. Account of his two years teaching English in China. I learned a lot from it.
The Party is still in command in the smaller cities away from the coast, but the non-Communists seem to get on reasonably well. Those who love security and bossing others seem to gravitate toward the party, but the instinct for freedom is alive and well.
