Time with MARSOC

Flew to Jacksonville NC yesterday afternoon and driven by captain host to Lejeune (first time for me). Dinner with officers at O Club, then up this a.m. to do office call with commanding general (very cool guy), and then 90-min brief (professional mil development) to the commander and 100-plus officers, with 20-25 Q&A and then signing about 30 books.

Got nice command coin, neat black polo with logo (so weird to see USMC symbol superimposed on SOCOM shield, like cats and dogs living together!), and Small Wars Manual reprint.

Very enjoyable and very informative.
