Tom around the web

+ In addressing his latest book talk-through, Hugh Hewitt writes:

Last year I spent eight hours of radio time over two months with Thomas P.M. Barnett, a national security thinker with whom I did not often agree but whose book, The Pentagon's New Map, was important and informative.

Huh. Well, I didn't understand from the eight hours that Hugh didn't often agree, but there you have it.

Those of us who listen to Hugh regularly know what he meant. He probably means disagree strongly on U.S. vis a vis Iran. Not disagree muchly.

I agree with you though, you didn't seem to disagree muchly over the 8 hours. And I have to say it was the best 8 hours of radio i've ever listened to.

Thanks for the link.

Sounds like that book by Dionne is interesting, though.

Manny is right. Hugh sticks with Bush on Iran and I do not.

Hugh will HATE my next Esquire piece, out in the next week.
