Some interesting stuff on the Iranian blogosphere

Research Publication No. 2008-01: Mapping Iran’s Online Public: Politics and Culture in the Persian Blogosphere, April 6, 2008, The Berkman Center for Internet & Society at the Harvard Law School

Good example of why I'm not into "strategic comms": the best peer influencers are fellow peers, not some outside government.

Tom,

Can you delve into your thoughts on why you are not "into strategic comms?" I understand what you're saying, however, just looking for a bit more fiedlity.

Matt: one post from the past that addresses your question:

Milblogs all the strategic comms we need

to wit: in our current world, we need more transparency, hence milblogs. they communicate better, more authentically than any intentional strategic comms ever could. delusional, paranoid worries about jeopardizing opsec do not compare with the positive PR our nation and the military services totally need.
