West Point abroad

ARTICLE: West Point sending cadets to NJ for taste of Iraq, AP, 2008-04-03

Far better in the long term: West Point starting semesters abroad in places like China, Russia, and Brazil.

I definitely agree, as an ROTC cadet I was surprised to learn that we didn't have any kind of study abroad program that incorporated working with foreign military cadets. There was a two-week program in the UK, but nothing beyond that.

Imagine how much could be gained by having our nation's military students study along side the future leadership of the Indian or Chinese military.

You know, if I was a Jerseyite, I think I'd be insulted. 'Course, having been immortalized primarily in THE SOPRANOS and assorted Kevin Smith movies, they may be used to that feeling already:P
