The Fox interview killed it for me.
Thompson and McCarthy took the Pack to a TD drive-away from the Super Bowl with their choices. They are both good and shouldn't be held hostage to Brett's demands.
Trade him to the AFC but enough of the soap opera. The team is more important than any one of our many legendary players.

I'm as big of a Brett fan as anybody, but seriously, I'm tired of him jerking the Packer's chain every years after his first "retirement." He needs to get out of the way so the Packers can focus on long term planning and acquisitions.
Hard to believe, but the Pack's best years are still ahead of it!
Go Pack!

Elite athletes in team sports often complain they are not being shown their proper respect in negotiations or being provided with the right supporting cast. You can become a franchise player and make the demands that go with the designation without having won anything.
Contrast to the firm of Woods, Mediate, Williams, Williams, Federer and Nadal. Rising to the lonely occasion of their sports' greatest stages, they play thrilling, marathon matches in near sudden death conditions. And who makes the most money? The one that wins.
