The latest and greatest Brief video

I'm just starting on Tom around the web for this week, very routine, when I come across the Brief at Middlebury on April 1st on YouTube. Great Scott! At over 82 minutes, this is the longest, fullest version of the Brief on video that we've seen for some time!

So all of you people who keep begging for it, quit cryin'! ;-)

On YouTube it's called The Pentagon's New Map.

A big thanks to donpaulo for linking this and putting me onto it. It had slipped by me.

Upon further review, I see the video's only been up for 5 days, so I don't feel so bad.

when the brief's available in imax we'll quit cryin

I also noticed it's downloadable as an MPEG video from their website (the URL appears at the beginning of the video).

now that's funny stuff, Jarrod ;-)

thanks for the info, Peter! here's the link for those who would like to use that option: http://uc.princeton.edu/main/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=3358&Itemid=1

I loved watching the full presentation, I wish I could attend one of these in person!

thanks mister meade, i had been fishing for compliments all day to no avail! the virtual reality brief will be pretty incredible you must admit.

you came to the right place, Jarrod. i'm pretty easily amused ;-)

wait 'til you read the since-cut original final chapter of GP, speaking of VR Brief!

Thank you! This will be on my iPod for tomorrow morning's ride to work! And for those using the downlaod link, it's really fast. My average class Comcast cable is downloading it at 456 kmbpswhatever

Still think the TED talk is Tom's best - its just so fast and punchy.

And am I the only one who was screaming to the camera operator to zoom back so I can see the slides!

no, David, you're not the only one (though i was not literally screaming ;-)
