Stewart tank

That Stuart looks like a tin box compared to the superseded tanks that grace small town America.

I read that the tactic for a group of Stuarts to take on a Panzer was to split up, head for the flanks and hope that one out of three would survive to get behind them and get a good shot where the Stuart's smaller cannon could to some damage. Win the war of attrition even if you take a LOT of casualties. Kinda asymeterical. In that war, we didn't always have the best technology, just more of it. The Stuarts were limited because they were built in the US and shipped over, so the call was many and small rather than large and robust. Not good news for the men inside them, but probably the right decision.
