Missed Mrs. Bowie

Just taped 15 mins with Bill Thompson for his widely syndicated segment "Eye on Books."

His next guest was model Iman, aka wife of David Bowie.

Alas, only her handlers in the lobby as we exit. Unseemly to hang around ("Hey buddy! I work for Esquire as you must know!), so media wrangler Greg Justice and I drive to C-SPAN for "After Words" taping, set for 4pm.
