That seemed to go well ...

Spent breakfast here at Jefferson with Hiroki Sugita, Washington Bureau Chief of Kyodo News. That was a solid hour.

Then another 45 minutes in same restaurant (same place I've held court time and time again) with Daniel Sagalyn, Deputy Senior Producer of "The News Hour with Jim Lehrer," somebody I actually met way back when on the first tour.

Then meet up with media wrangler Alison again and she whisks me off to Fox (my third time in this same building, because C-SPAN located there too; 400 N. Capitol). I do the make-up, I hang in the green room a bit, then taken into studio with Snow. Wait through hurricane report, then the quick review with him on air, then I sit through Rep. Curt Weldon segment (funny, but no one tells me this is going to happen, I'm just supposed to know that I'm supposed to sit there silently until the commercial break).

Then back in the car with Alison, she gives me the rest of the promo copies (more for me to hand out), and I'm back at the hotel done for the day.

I am now plotting some movies. I'll save the work on the brief for the train ride tomorrow. Just want to chill my brain.

Have stories I could blog but just don't want to. Trying to stay away from the minibar because I have a nasty sinus headache from the low-pressure system here, looming over the city. Think I'll stick to popcorn.
