CSPAN cancels again at last minute
Walked into the George Washington U. conference center just now, expecting to see some camers being set up, but alas, there were none.
The conference organizers got a call late last night saying too many cabinet officials in town and too much Hill stuff going on to spare the film crew.
Disappointing, but I am getting used to it by now.
Still, apparently my webmaster Sean got the link working to the Sandia Lab online video, so that will have to do for now.

Your group should ask organizations such as Sandia and JHU Lab, where Barnett has spoken, to also prepare DVD discs for purchase - or your group should make a DVD from the presentation. Why? Because (a) the viewing and listening is not all that easy and some formats do not allow one to skip forward (having been interrupted and going off-line) so that one can resume at a given time. (b) the small formats used by others are not kept for long and it is almost impossible (unless one is a nerd) to copy them in an uninterrupted manner to a DVD. (c) Only a DVD can be transported about and, if needed, can be shown away from the original receiving computer - unless one is an expert.
Please consider. I woukld like to show a lecture/briefing to several audiences of 10 to 20 people, not military or government but people who might be able to spread the"gospel".

I think more of C-SPAN's viewers would like to see something more interesting such as this as opposed to the men/women on the Hill complaining about everything.
Next time there is a piece on C-SPAN with you involved I need to have my International Relations/Economics friends watch because they need to start thinking more horizontal. Big problem with a lot of them.
