Tom in the news

The Knoxville News-Sentinel reports (some registration required):

The March 15 [Knox County Public Library] book discussion will focus on "The Pentagon's New Map: War and Peace in the 21st Century" by Thomas Barnett, and "Allies: The U.S., Britain and Europe and the War in Iraq" by William Shawcross.

The News-Sentinel is on the way to becoming "The official newspaper of Tom Barnett". ;-)

During this evening's class, my professor wanted to talk about reading Friedman's book ("The World is Flat") and how it related to our Knowledge Management (KM) course. Naturally I had to mention Tom and PNM. Interestingly enough, one of my colleagues in my class brought in a flier advertising the book discussion.

Yeah, I think you could say KNS is becoming "The official newspaper of Tom Barnett" and I think that is a wonderful thing :)
